Ex McLaren Mechanic Now Supplying Cromford Road Cars!

Sometimes we have to dig really deep to secure the necessary parts and components to prepare our cars to the standards we like.

On Saturday, I had to drive to Hampshire to collect some components for a BMW Mini we have in stock. When I got there I found the the guy we were dealing with was ex McLaren Mechanic, Mark Hannawin.

I too a quick picture of a poster on his reception wall showing him with Ron Dennis, Ayrton Senna, Gerhard Burger and the rest of the McLaren Team.

Mark is a really nice guy and his mechanical knowledge is incredible.

I was also very impressed with his workshops. They are laid out like an operating theartre and immaculate.

I did quiz him a little about Ayrton Senna’s fatal crash, but being the true professional he is, he said he couldn’t and wouldn’t comment.

I must say, it was a pleasure to meet you Mark and we’ll see you the next time we need your exceptional expertise.
