‘Black box’ car insurance will turn down your radio and monitor your texts

Here’s an interesting story I found on the Telegraph.com’s website.

The technological capabilities of the insurance companies “black boxes” will be able to monitor much more than just your speed and time of traveling… If only part of this story is true, we’re about to see a massive intrusion in our day to day lives.

I personally, have mixed feelings about this… On the one hand, I like the improvements it could make to road safety. On the other hand, I’m not happy about being tracked like some sort of carrier pigeon.
