Two Million Drivers Don’t Wear Seat-Belts!

I found this story on the EasirCars website, easier.com. I was a little surprised at the number of motorists who don’t wear a seat belt, 2 million!

When you read the story, its not quite a simple as the headline would suggest. I thought they were talking about the same 2 million people all the time!

It would appear that we decide to wear a seat belt, or not, depending on the situation. We are more likely to wear one if we are driving and least likely to wear one if we are a passenger in a taxi. Also we are happier to wear our seat belts if we are on a long journey and less happier if we are just popping down the road.

It is a fact that seat belts save lives and as they are in the car it seems strange not to wear it.
